FreePrintablePaper

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about the generators, printing and licensing.

Is FreePrintablePaper really free?

Yes. Every generator and every download is free, with no account, watermark or email wall. The site may show ads to cover its running costs.

Do I need to sign up or install anything?

No. The paper generators run in your web browser on any modern phone, tablet or computer.

Which paper sizes can I print?

US Letter, A4, A5, A6, Half Letter, US Legal, Tabloid and A3, each in portrait or landscape.

How do I print at the exact size?

In the print dialog, choose Actual size or 100% and avoid Fit to page. Then a 1 cm grid measures exactly 1 cm. The printing guide explains every setting.

Are my settings or files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your paper is drawn in your own browser, and your options are saved only on your own device so the page remembers them next time.

What is the difference between PDF, PNG and SVG?

PDF is a vector file that prints sharply at any size and is the best choice for printing. PNG is a picture at 150 or 300 DPI for inserting into documents. SVG is an editable vector file for design software.

Can I use the papers for commercial purposes?

You can print as many sheets as you like for personal, classroom and in-house business use. You may not resell the papers or the generator as a stand-alone product. The terms page has the full wording.

Why do my printed lines look different from the preview?

Screens show colour differently from printers, and very thin lines can look lighter on paper. Try a darker colour or a slightly higher line thickness, and print in normal or high quality.

Can I request a new paper type?

Yes. Send a suggestion through the contact page. Planner pages, bullet-journal layouts and more graph variations are good candidates.
